For those of you that haven't heard, Steve has been allowed to return as assistant cross country coach at Cascade High School.
While we would have wished for a full reinstatement and an apology, Steve is happy to be back with doing what he loves - coaching the students of Cascade.
Your voices were heard!
Steve Bertrand has been coaching at Cascade High School for 37+ years and has been told his cross country coaching contract will not be renewed next year.
Steve is a great coach and is well respected by current students, parents, alumni and other coaches in the area and many feel very strongly that the cross country program at Cascade will suffer as a result of this decision.
No reasons have been given by the school or the Everett School District for this action.
