Reinstate Dr Sam Ward and Resume Normal Services at the Resource Centre

For over 2 months now the Resource Centre has been closed whilst Dr Sam Ward has been suspended from work pending investigation. As a result of this seemingly unnecessary closure the residents of our village have lost a vital asset to the community.
Every day the Resource Centre was used by the villagers of all ages and all circumstances. Some for practical purposes (use of IT equipment, reference books for study) some for social purposes (new Mum's or the elderly meeting up for much needed social interaction) and crucially children borrowing books and developing a lifelong love of reading. At the heart of this has been Dr Sam Ward. A person who's contribution to our Community is enormous. From delivering books to elderly villagers who are unable to get to the Resource Centre to running regular fun crafting sessions for the local children.
Anyone who's ever visited the Resource Centre will have received a warm, friendly and professional reception and service from Dr Ward.
We the undersigned demand that Arlesey Town Council reinstate Dr Sam Ward, the Resource Centre Manager, and that the Resource Centre resumes normal service under her management without further delay.
