In memory of Martin Kruze: Reform the law and give life sentences to sexual predators

We the undersigned call upon Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to reform the law for life sentences of convicted sex offenders of sex crimes on children or who have caused death or injury to child victims, including suicide.
Gordon Stuckless pleaded guilty in 2014 to 100 charges related to the sexual abuse of 18 boys decades ago. Stuckless was later found guilty of two additional charges of gross indecency linked to two of the 18 victims.
Martin Kruze a child victim, resorted to suicide. Martin wrote in a victim impact statement for a Stuckless sentencing hearing: "I've been full of anger, rage, guilt, shame, loneliness, terror and self-hatred."
The damage Stuckless did to scores of children was appalling.
We the people request mandatory life sentences.
Children's lives matter. Children need safe communities.
We the undersigned petition to reform the law so life sentences are given to sexual predators.
