GW Pharmaceuticals have been given legality to grow Cannabis, extract vital elements, add 2 alcohols and make a drug called Sativex which is then sold to the NHS at an exorbitant price, and also sold to European countries. They are now using cannabis to make other drugs.
We as the general public are branded as criminals for doing exactly what the Conservative Party have given priority to do. The Police say they 'can't override the Government, but we can try if we get enough signatures.
We, the undersigned ask Parliament to look to alter current drug laws as they currently stand. We also ask that the medicinal qualities within the cannabis plant be de-classified immediately for patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
We only ask for the same rights that have been given to GW Pharmaceuticals to which cannabis has already been de-classified, and a plant that was legal during Queen Victoria's reign and is currently used in numerous countries to treat terminal symptoms.
It is clear that the benefits of medicinal cannabis outweigh the untrue reasons that keep it illegal.
