Every day cars and particularly trucks run the red light where Rosanna Rd crosses Darebin St. There needs to be some kind of deterrent for this reckless and dangerous behaviour.
This intersection is used constantly for pedestrians accessing the shops, the primary school and the childcare centre on the corner of the intersection.
Older children from the primary school also use the lights to walk home by themselves. Please support this petition to greatly reduce the risk of potential tragedy.
Attention: Banyule City Council
Please acknowledge the community's request for action against the vehicles constantly breaking the law by installing a red light camera at the intersection of Rosanna Road and Darebin Street.
