New Tricks is a British procedural comedy-drama that follows the work of the fictional Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad (UCOS) of the Metropolitan Police Service, which started in March 2013.

Originally led by DSI Sandra Pullman, it is made up of retired police officers recruited to reinvestigate unsolved crimes. There have been cast changes, but the squad always consists of three men with a female boss.

The current (twelfth) series is the first to contain none of the original cast members. It is due to be the last, ending 6 October 2015.

We, the undersigned, call on the BBC to recommission the comedy-drama New Tricks.

At its peak New Tricks was reaching over 9 million people, and continues to pull in 5 million viewers.

Now that the lineup is entirely new, it feels like the new cast are just getting into the swing of things, and we feel they justify at least two further series.
