Public transport Victoria don't think the residents of Brindalee estate don't need a bus service through our estate. but many families use this service as they are unable to get other transportation.
We are a family that live in Brindalee estate in Cranbourne East. As many of you may have noticed there has been a restructure to the Cranbourne public transport services by Public transport Victoria and Cranbourne transit link.
The 896 Cranbourne east bus is no longer running and the 898 Archers field drive bus no longer runs past the retirement village in the Hunt Club. As many of us that catch those services, my family included who may be elderly, young or disabled catch these services to do our daily travel. The nearest bus to our estate now is Linsell Blvd. Which from the estate can be up to or over a 1km walk. For those who are unable to walk this far makes traveling to do things in our everyday life very hard. This means that residents of Brindalee now have to find other transport or catch a taxi to their destination.
What we are asking here is if that you would kindly sign our petition to be able to get Public Transport Victoria and Cranbourne transit link to run a bus through our estate. To do this we need your help. One voice may not do very much but the voice of many is a powerful thing. Help us get back our bus service.
