Raynaud's is a chronic illness, which means without medication people's feet and legs often go black with the cold. Many people live in the world live in fuel poverty so their hands and feet are affected by the cold. This means on bad cold days they have trouble coping with every day tasks like walking, reading, writing and using a computer. The easiest way to do their shopping is online as they are often house bound.
The current benefits system means that if you’re under 60 you cannot make a claim as you are too young, and those with children over school age cannot claim because their children are too old.
People with Raynaud's should get the help they are entitled to. Raynauds is also a greatly under funded area by many global Governments.
We the undersigned call on the World Governments to make sure that people with chronic illness are treated the same as disabled when they need financial help. Raynauds is also a greatly under funded area by many World Governments.
