Our proposal would provide necessities to Floridians who are either without medical insurance or require items not included under their insurance plans.
This proposal would also fund research for advanced treatment and quite possibly prevention of mental retardation and enabling future generations of parents and children to live lives untroubled by the afflictions affecting the mentally retarded.
By signing this petition you give your support proposing that sales taxes in the State of Florida increase by 1% to create a fund that provides for the education of and research for the benefit of the mentally retarded.
