We the undersigned, citizens of Canada, are concerned by the rhetoric and legal actions conducted by Russia and by the International Olympic Committee in advance of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games to be held in Sochi, Russia.
We wish to stand in solidarity with all LGBTQ athletes, and the global LGBTQ community.
Therefore, we hereby request that the Canadian Olympic Committee require that all Team Canada Olympic Uniforms for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games have a rainbow flag, as symbol of LGBTQ support, included in the design.
