1 in 4 children are sexually assaulted in Australia every year, 34%of perpetrators are family members, only 5% of sex offenders are mentally disturbed 59% are friends or known to their victims.
We the undersigned demand that the Qld State government change the laws so that a judge or magistrate cannot suppress the identity of a serious sex offender unless the identity will also identify the victim.
We also demand that all convicted sex offenders be put on a national and state public register.
