Hi There,

Nitish Katara was in Love with Bharti Yadav.

Bharti Yadav is the daughter of DP Yadav, well-known criminal leader in Western Uttar Pradesh who has also served as a member of the Indian Parliament under the Bharatiya Janata Party. The family apparently did not approve of the alliance, and Nitish was threatened several times.

Nitish Katara was an executive in Delhi when he was murdered in the early hours of February 17, 2002.

He was finally kidnapped and battered to death with a hammer before his body was dumped and burned.j

Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav, son and nephew of the MP, are facing prosecution in the case for allegedly kidnapping and later killing Nitish Katara, son of a senior IAS officer here, in February 2002.

Nitish was last seen publicly at a friend's wedding in Ghaziabad where he had danced with Bharti Yadav. Bharti told police at the time:

"My friendship with Nitish Katara became a love affair... I began to love Nitish from the bottom of my heart... Nitish told his mother that he wanted to marry me. After the wedding ceremony I and Nitish Katara danced. At around 1.30am, I came to know that Vikas and Vishal Yadav had asked Nitish to come out with them. I feared for Nitish's life. I searched... everywhere but didn't find them."
Bharti then phoned Neelam Katara, Nitish's mother, saying that she feared that something bad might happen.

Summons issued to Bharti after trial begins in March 2003. Says will depose on Oct 8, 2003. She fails to appear. Warrant issued.
* September 2004: First non-bailable warrant issued.
* March 30, 2005: Prosecution drops her as witness, later adds her after High Court order.
* March 7, 2006: Second NBW issued for her appearance on March 27
* March 27, 2006: Prosecution moves for cancellation of her passport and other steps against her. MEA later cancels her passport.
* July 29, 2006: Court issues proclamation declaring Bharti absconding. Court gives Bharti two months to turn up.

The recording of evidence of Bharti Yadav has been hanging in the balance for more than a year as she is in London doing some professional course, and has expressed her inability to come to the country on the ground that her coming to India would affect her studies.

Was the professional course Bharti Yadav was undergoing, important than the Indian Juciary Summons?

Was is not un-lawful to leave INDIA while see was the prime witness?

Was is not un-lawful to disrespect all summons and not attend the Court.

Was is not un-lawful to behave irresponsibly and delaying the decision of Murder case running in INDIAN court.

Now after delaying the decision for 4 years, Bharti Yadav has returned to INDIA. And now she says, she never loved Nitish katara, She didn't saw him with his brother (after which Nitish Katara was never seen alive)

Is she still playing with the Law?

Shouldn't she and other accused be examined?

Her offence is bigger then anybody else's as she is disrespecting the Law. She should be punished for changing her statments.

Everybody should be clear, NOT TO PLAY and DELAY - the Law Decision.

Please vote for the petition and let Nitish Katara get a justice.

Punish Bharti Yadav for playing with Law, and delaying the decision, disrespecting Indian Law

The 'Death Penalty' is appropriate if the three accused are found guilty of murder.
