For over 20 years the hamlet of Amagansett in the Town of East Hampton, NY has needed a public restroom for the people who visit the retail stores in the area. In the 1990's funds were earmarked to build an Amagnansett public restroom but it has not come to fruition.
The Town of East Hampton has built and maintains public restrooms in East Hampton, Montauk and several beaches.
Given Amagansett's growth over the last few years the time is now to finally get a public bathroom in Amagansett.
