Special Assessment for Aquatic Plant Control to incur new taxes for property owners.
The Hope Township Board of Barry County plans to propose an additional special assessment for additional aquatic control measures. These special assessments raise property owner taxes for those who own property around Long Lake.
It is estimated the project of $218,025.00 will raise our taxes by an estimated $182.00 each year for 5 years, until renewal.
This cost is in addition to the association dues for the lake.
