Target:
The Bureau of Land Management - Alaska
Region:
United States of America

On Friday, January 21st, 2005 Henri Bisson, the director of Alaska's Bureau of Land Management planned to open thousands of acres on the North Slope of Alaska for exploritory drilling of oil and natural gas. This section has been fenced off since the Reagan administration because of environmental concerns and it is a migratory path for birds and caribou.

It has been said that the exploration would produce a minimal impact of the area but if this area has been fenced off for decades is this true? Tell the BLM of Alaska and Henri Bisson to stop all plans to drill in Alaska's North Slope.

Tell Henri Bisson, the Director of the Bureau of Land Management of Alaska that the northeastern corner of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska's North Slope should not be drilled.
