It has come to our attention through international media like BBC CNN and others that Ethiopian migrants in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Lebanon, Libya, Syria and Ethiopian Refugees in Sinai in Kenya have become victims of violence.
The life of helpless Ethiopian refugees in the desert of Sinai is worth two days as they do not have relatives who can help them exonerate paying traffickers. Women are raped repeatedly, the number of victims is increasing day by day because the government of Ethiopia is not protecting these people who are far from their families mainly for work to combat poverty.
In fact Alem Dechasa was forced in a car by officials in front of the Ethiopian Embassy in Lebanon. May her soul rest in peace.
We, the undersigned, call upon the International community, the UN Agencies in the world, the European union, American government, the Vatican the AU and the Ethiopian government to guarantee protection to these citizens and the secure return to their country.
