Remembering the life of my dad Denny Seafield, Devoted Dad, Husband, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Cousin & Friend. Formally of Hylton Lane Estate. Friend to many. You will be missed x

My Dad Denny passed away suddenly & very unexpected on 19th January, 2011 after a two year battle with Prostate & Bone cancer.

Bravely Borne, he refused chemotherapy & chose with dignity to have a better quality of life. He passed with his two daughters with him at 5am.

He worked in The Merchant Navy, Coles Cranes, on the buses, The Shipyards and as a hospital Porter at The Royal Infirmary and Sunderland Royal Hospital & retired with ill health in January 2000.

My dad had to ask for a second opinion before he was sent for a scan, he was treat for a blocked bowel for 9 months until he demanded a scan which then revealed he had prostate cancer which was spread to his bones.

Please sign this petition to ensure all men over 50 can be tested for prostate cancer to save lives because if it's detected early enough it will save lives. Sadly my dad wasn't so I want to make a difference for men in the future... this screening could save the NHS thousands on cancer treatment too... let's prevent it before it happens and affects peoples lives.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED CALL ON THE GOVERNMENT TO BRING IN PROSTATE CANCER SCREENING IN ALL MEN OVER 50.

WOMAN HAVE BREAST CANCER AND CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING, SO LET'S ALSO LOOK AFTER MEN'S HEALTH AND SAVE LIVES.
