Proposed Abortion Amendment to the United States Constitution

In the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion. But the decision also gave the states and the federal government the right to restrict abortion access with laws intended to protect the woman's health.
As the issue stands today the right-wing has used that power to force law through the state legislations and Congress, not intended to protect the woman's health but to endanger it. This goes against the basic ruling of the Roe v. Wade decision as the decision was acted to save women from back alley abortions.
And so the National Feminism Political Party has proposed an abortion amendment to the United States Constitution. This amendment will repeal all the state and federal laws restricting abortion access and deem them unconstitutional. In their place a national prevention first program shall be acted to educate people about reproductive health and how to stay away from unplanned pregnancies and in turn reduce the number of abortions carried out.
