Our goal and mission are to collect as many signatures as possible urging the European Union (EU), through the European Parliament (EP) to enact specific legislation to protect seals against annual seal hunting, whereas the seals are treated with cruelty and facing extinction and eradication.

We also urge the European Union (EU), through the European Parliament (EP) to take necessary actions to recommend to the United Nations (UN); an International order, within the sphere of International Laws, to initiate specific global convention, covenant, or international treaty for the protection of the seal population, and the common practices of seal hunting.

We call therefore on the European Union (EU) to urge the United Nations (UN) to take global measures and actions to protect the seals and our environment; whereas animal constitutes a vital component of our environment; and protecting the seals from being eradicated is protecting our environment.

Special thanks to the European Union (EU) and the United Nations (UN) for considering our petition.
