Cherokee Point residents have numerous concerns regarding a skate park planned by the City of San Diego in De La Cruz Park.
The City of San Diego failed to provide sufficient notice or proper opportunity for input during the decision making process residents of Cherokee Point.
The City of San Diego has EXEMPTED this project from the normal Park Development, thus failing those who have chosen to invest here and are committed to creating a positive community in Cherokee Point.
Preserve the green belt space at De La Cruz Park in Cherokee Point and provide the appropriate "normal" process, which includes our voices being heard and weighed in any decision making process that directly affects the Cherokee Point community.
