Please Save Oakdale Lodge

Oakdale Lodge is a quality Care Centre, and provides the highest standard of person care and support. However, the Care Homes future is now under threat due to talks surrounding redevelopment of the site. If this goes ahead all of the residents, with the majority suffering from dementia, will have to be rehoused.

This is a lovely care home, with personalized care, friendly welcoming staff and a beautiful stimulating environment for the residents not only to live in but to thrive in, with social events encouraging their self-esteem and social experiences. The qualified, highly trained and motivated staff always do their best to ensure that residents continue to live their lives to the fullest, allowing them to safely carry on enjoying hobbies and activities as well as providing a place for them to relax.

The amazing care home has strived to do the best for the residents and hopes to do so for many more years. Therefore we need your help to save Oakdale Lodge, all signatures will help to show South Tyneside Council that people care about our care home.
