Law and Order: SVU fans around the globe are devastated that their favourite ADA, Rafael Barba, played by the massively talented Raul Esparza, has chosen to depart the show after six seasons.
While the creators of this petition are not demanding his immediate return, we do so wish to let Raul know how much his character had an impact on us.
While the characters of Alex Cabot (Stephanie March) and Casey Novak (Diane Neal) were popular, their departures were not met with the shock and outpouring of grief as has the departure of Raul's character, Rafael Barba.
Barba is easily SVU's most popular ADA since the show began in 1998.
We humbly so beg that Raul doesn't allow his character to be forgotten, and returns to grace the screens of SVU sooner than we expect.
Fans of Law and Order: SVU - this is a means to tell Raul how much we adore him and his character.
It's also a means to let him know how much we're going to miss him, and hope that he returns to SVU sooner, rather than later.
