Since the mid 1990s, "Rugrats" has been a phenomenol show, paving the way for other hit Nicktoons like "SpongeBob SquarePants", "The Fairly Odd Parents" and "Jimmy Neutron" to air on Nickelodeon.

However, in 2004, it was cancelled due to low ratings and "Klasky/Csupo Inc" going bankrupt. Recently, Klasky/Csupo Inc have re-opened and re-established themselves and we see this as a perfect opportunity to bring the babies back for a tenth season. Especially, considering that they put Nickelodeon on the map.

Dear Nickelodeon/Viacom,

In 1991, three original Nicktoons were created for the network, going by the names of "The Ren and Stimpy Show", "Doug" and of course "Rugrats". All three of which were really successful.

"Ren and Stimpy" and "Doug" stopped due to low ratings, but "Rugrats" eventually stopped because the original contract in the early 90s meant that they could only produce 65 episodes, much to the success of the reruns and the specials in between certain events. Thanks to this, Rugrats went back into production, with later episodes succeeding, and three movies spawning off of the show.

However, it was cancelled in 2004, due to Klasky/Csupo Inc going bankrupt, and the fact that it started to decline in ratings. Today, it's 2012, and people are already starting to miss the show, because of the legacy that it has brought upon pop culture in the 1990s and the early 2000s and the misadventures the babies have gotten into.

Klasky/Csupo originally animated for "The Simpsons", which also left a similar, yet bigger legacy than the Rugrats have, and part and parcel of the Rugrats being conceived was to show kids the humour of dysfunctional families and wide variety of lovable and memorable characters. The Simpsons is still running to this day, and I guarantee you if you bring back the Rugrats, give it time and the Rugrats will leave a similar legacy.

Recently, Klasky/Csupo Inc have re-established themselves and revived the company. Arlene Klasky has even said about contributing to a Rugrats revival: "Gabor and I have a great fondness for both those shows and their characters. We hear on a regular basis from fans that have big love for the shows we’ve produced. It would be an honor for Gabor and I to be creatively involved in bringing back "Rugrats" and "The Wild Thornberrys". If Arlene and Gabor are game, then we think it's time to show the new generation of kids how much of an impact the show has left and can leave on pop culture.

"Rugrats" may have had 9 seasons, but "Beavis and Butthead" has had a similar amount and it was instantly welcomed back on MTV in 2011. And it may have been uncancelled already, but FOX'S second major hit TV series "Family Guy" shared a similar history of this. If those two can come back, and "Rugrats" has had similarities between them, in terms of both cancellation and seasons, then you should bring it back.

Arlene and Gabor are very talented people and have created alot of shows for your network and put it on the map. I suggest showing a new generation of kids just how much their talent can leave an impact on them.
