Home-A-Dog kennels have been up and running for 4yrs but the previous owner (who has recently died of cancer) had not applied for plannning permission for the caravan on site nor applied for change of use from stables to kennels.
The new managers Demelda and Colin moved from Cornwall to be unpaid managers and live in the caravan in lieu of wages.

Home-A-Dog had to apply for retrospect planning for both caravan and kennels and on the 13th November 2008 it was refused.

Ultimately this means Home-A-Dog is under threat of closure within 12months.
There is only one other rescue centre within the area and they cannot deal with anymore dogs so this means if they are not here the dogs approx 10 per month will be killed.

Please sign this petition to try to give these dogs a chance in life, they have already been through enough, we cannot let them go through anymore suffering.

We, the undersigned, call on the Snowdonia National Park to give Planning Permission for the Home-A-Dog Kennels and the Caravan on site in Llanbedr, Gwynedd.
