Dear Randy Kamp,
We are writing to express our opposition to the Bylaw 2202 amendments which bans federally licensed individuals from growing marijuana for medical patients within our municipality perimeters.
We wish to have these bylaw amendments overturned, and comply with federal laws.
We do not believe that the growing of pot for others should be banned from Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge or Mission, as some cannot or do not know how to grow it. We believe if there are concerns involving health and safety, that they can be worked around within the confines of the federal law.
We demand the bylaw be removed and further action taken to work in cooperation with licensed marijuana growers to ensure the health and safety of the public is maintained.
We expect that you will take this issue seriously and will respond in kind.
