The tradition of the Canon-McMillan High School Big Mac Band in dealing with marching onto and off of the field has, for a long time, been for the drumline to play Cadence.
It is a necessary part of our routine to both offer greater levels of entertainment and to announce our field presence. It is a belief of the below signed that the Cadence when marching onto the football field is a necessity for traditional and entertainment purposes.
We, the undersigned, call on Mr. Falvo and Mr. Rush to reinstate the playing of and marching to the Cadence onto the field during all pre-game, half-time, and band festival shows.
