A petition against the way the rape laws are put into action. The way the rape laws work is if you have had sex with any girl under the age of 16 then you have the potential of a 25 to life sentence regardless of whether or not it really was rape. In my eyes this goes against all freedoms and rights. If consensual sex with someone you love if the male is 18 and female is 15 is illegal then tell me what is legal.
We the undersigned call upon the United States Government to change the rape laws to help put actual rapists in jail and help keep consensual sex out of rape laws.
