Early Wednesday morning, January 21 2009, Phil khan, a local Surrey man, was working down town when he was beaten by three off duty police officers. This, no less, happened the day of Barrack Obama's inauguration.

This attack was completely unprovoked by Khan, and is a disgrace. Of the Officers one has been suspended with pay for 30 days, another has been reassigned to desk work, and the other is still at his regular work.

We, the Undersigned, call on the Vancouver Police Department, and Departments of surrounding areas, to eliminate the employment of these three police officers whose actions are completely against all that we as a city and Province should stand for.

This petition will be sent to Police Chief Constable Jim Chu. We need to get together and let the Vancouver Police Department know that this will not become a figment of our imaginations like so many other things have in the past regarding the unacceptable behaviour of our Police Department.

The Petition Against The Beating Of Phil Khan By Three off Duty Police Officers petition to The Vancouver Police Department was written by Sciobhan Satherley and is in the category Civil Rights at GoPetition.
