A petition against fireworks legalised at Klipfontein dam, Witbank.
Residents and animal owners live next to the area.
Witbank can't guarantee proper law enforcement. Drinking in public during these festivities can create problems. Witbank Municipality is also incapable of doing a proper clean up afterwards, as they can't even keep the town clean under normal circumstances.
The above is in direct violation of people's and animals' health and safety.
We the undersigned call for Municipal management to withdraw the legalisation of fireworks at Klipfontein dam and provide proper law enforcement in future.
