In the United States Constitution, section one of the 14th amendment under “Equal Protection” states that any state is prohibited from denying equal protection to all of its citizens in its territory, this meaning that ethnicity does not deny anyone equal rights. Recently there has been an uprising of awareness with inequality towards other ethnic groups, and how America perceives itself to be completely equal to all, even though many people in our society know this to be a lie.

A solution to this problem would be to integrate and educate students in schools by reinforcing the same amount of diversity in the city that the school belongs to, and or providing ethnic classes to also enforce the understanding of diversity. This will in turn make students accept, then adapt those ideas into their daily lives.

This petition is not meant to completely change America, it is meant to grab the attention of the majority of people into adapting their lifestyles around bettering the treatment of everyone around them.

We, the students, family, staff, and representatives call on our country to revisit the constitution and enforce the 14th amendment in order for everyone to be truly equal, and not just being told we're equal while societies' views on the minority are much more different than that of the Constitution.
