First Bank Nigeria froze my bank account with them for the purpose of KYC without prior warning. This was at a time I had to transact business and I was on a journey. They left me stranded, and with my reputation utterly damaged in the eyes of my business partners. I was full of anxiety. In these days of covid-19 I had to travel in order to get the required documents. Despite doing all that is needed of me, they have refused to unfreeze my account and are keeping me waiting; probably expecting several more visits to their bank (in this covid-19 era) before taking action. In the wake of all these, I have done my research and realised that it is something many of their customers suffer and so I ask you to help me sign this petition if you have been affected or know someone who has. It’s time we get compensated for the trauma we have to face because we chose First Bank Nigeria. It’s time First Bank Nigeria PLC learns to not take its customers for granted.
