Parole is not an option for Kelly’s Murderer!!

As 2021 has drawn upon us, the Tinyes family has learned the devastating news that Kelly Ann’s killer is due to have another parole hearing in March 2021. He has won an appeal to be heard again and will unfortunately also be eligible for another hearing in November 2021. As the global pandemic has ravaged the nation, convicted child killer Robert Golub stands to have the best chance of being paroled than in years prior. Golub has served his full sentence and has been considered a “low risk” individual increasing the probability of being granted parole.

Robert Golub is anything but a “low risk offender.” He has been convicted of the most heinous crime of murdering 13 year old Kelly Ann Tinyes by viciously beating, stabbing, biting, strangling and sexually mutilating her and then stuffing her body in a sleeping bag and hiding it under the basement stairs of his home. Golub then maintained his innocence even under an insurmountable amount of evidence including DNA evidence. Golub has changed his account of events on numerous occasions and has even sought to blame Kelly Ann for being in the house unbeknownst to him and surprising him when he came home. Golub continues to conjure up varying statements which exculpates himself of any responsibility. Even after admitting to the murder of Kelly Ann a few years ago, he defers his savage behavior to his steroid use and that the drugs made him fly into an irrational rage that ended up with the murder of an innocent 13 year old girl.

Nearly 32 years later, Golub has never uttered a word of remorse, has never apologized for his crimes and continues to present himself as a victim by referring to his conviction as “tragedy number 2.” If released, there is a significant chance that he could be an immediate danger to the community. He lured Kelly Ann into his home proving that this was a premeditated crime and he had evil intentions to harm her.

We ask the public to sign our petition to keep Robert Golub behind bars and protect the community from the release of a brutal, remorseless killer back into the public. Robert Golub should not be given the opportunity to live his life when he so ruthlessly ended the life of Kelly Ann. This was a murder that sent shock waves across the entire nation. Generations have been affected by what happened on that fateful day in 1989. Lets be sure to keep Robert Golub incarcerated, where he belongs.
