The shopping center was opened in 2008 at an intersection where traffic is going in five different directions. It's hard for those using the public transportation to cross the streets to get in and out the shopping center.
We want the bus to go into the shopping center. It will be safer for those shopping and more business for the stores in the center. The people after purchasing their products will be able to get in out safely. The bus let's the people out on the corner the walk almost a quarter mile to get to Lowes and the supper market.
There has to be a change that intersection is dangerous.People driving have no respect for those trying to cross the street struggling with their shopping bags especially the Senior Citizens.
We the people of West Philadelphia who use SEPTA as transportation to get to the Parkside Shopping Center are asking all the residents in this area to sign this petition so that our voices will be heard.
We want bus transportation provided for Parkside Shoppers as it is provided for other Shopping Centers and Malls in our region, on an hourly and daily basis.
