The governing body has previously turned down a request for all learners to wear PE clothes on the day that they have PE instead of having to change at school. We wish for this to be reconsidered.

We the undersigned request that the Governing body reconsider the request to allow all children to go to school in PT clothes on the days which they do PT. For the following reasons.
1. When children change at school, items of clothing go missing, incurring replacement costs.
2. Carrying a change of clothes adds to the already unacceptable weight of school bags.
3. Smaller children in Grade 3 and 4 have difficulty changing back into winter uniform.
4. Changing into and out of PT clothes takes lesson time which can be better put to use.
