First-degree murder is defined as an unlawful killing that is both wilful and premeditated, meaning that it was committed after planning or "lying in wait" for the victim.
Jerome Ersland defended and saved his life and the life of others when dangerous armed gunmen pointed a gun at him and his co-workers. This is a terrible injustice!
We the people of Oklahoma and the United States of America request this verdict of First Degree murder be overturned due to the gross miscarriage of justice that has taken place.
