On Thursday, May 30, 2019, Chris Abele applied for a permit to demolish the Alexander Eschweiler designed Charles Albright Home at 3534 N Lake Drive in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Eschweiler designed many historic buildings and homes in the Milwaukee area. The masterpiece in question is a part of our collective history and heritage. The demolition of this home would be a great loss to our community and historic preservation.
