Online Petitions to Express Citizen Input to Pending Maine Legislation

This is a pilot petition to introduce the Go Petition online petition platform to the volunteer organizers of Seacoast Soundings (who organize the citizen petition drives) and the Maine State Legislators (who are the recipients of these petitions). This petition is simply to introduce everyone to the Go Petition online platform before we begin using it for actual issues regarding legislation pending before the Maine Legislature.
We, the undersigned, request Members of the Maine State Legislature to accept and acknowledge online petitions from Seacoast Soundings, a voluntary, non-profit organization of concerned and active Maine Seacoast citizens. These petitions are thoughtful, organized efforts by Seacoast Soundings, using the rigorous and non-partisan Go Petition online platform, to solicit, gather, validate, and present strongly held views of Seacoast citizens regarding legislation pending before the Maine State Legislature.
