We can agree that the blatant display of mutilated bodies of victims of accidents, clashes and murders is incredibly disrespectful to the dead and can take a devastating toll on their families and loved ones. Adding 'graphic' pictures does not lessen the effect to the viewer either.
We must enforce a desisting from the act of taking pictures at places of accidents or sites of murder.
An alternative is requiring that Nairaland enforces a system of censoring this image.
This Petition seeks to bring an end to the the blatant display of the dead or enforce censoring of such images by Nairaland.
