As Parents and community members (local, state and nation wide) we have reviewed the Human Sexuality program (Functions and Interrelationships of Systems) from the HPS Health Enhancement Curriculum. We strongly believe that the sexual content on page 45 is inconsistent with our community beliefs, culture, and social norms.
We strongly believe that the sexual content on page 45 is not appropriate to the age, developmental level, and cultural background of students, nor does it respect the family values and beliefs represented in our community.
A person who purposefully signs a name other than his/her own to this petition or who signs more than once for the same issue at one election or signs when not a legally registered (U.S.A.) voter is subject to a $500.00 fine, 6 months in jail or both.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens that believe the content on page 45 of the HPS Draft Health Enhancement Curriculum is either, redundant, out of context, or irrelevant. We believe that the dissemination of this information, in school, is not in the best interest of our youth. Therefore, we beseech the Helena School Board to omit page 45 from the HPS Draft Health Enhancement Curriculum.
