For many years, horses have been using the old track to get away from the ever busier roads - now, EITHER Rushton Parish Council or Staffs Moorlands Council have erected a barrier to STOP horses accessing the track, this has also limited access for wheelchair/mobility scooter users.
The majority of horse riders are considerate of walkers, dogs etc and we feel that we are being discriminated against. Also, the track is plenty wide enough for a divide, like the Middlewood Way.
