Phish fans used to have a high percentage chance of getting into the shows they wanted to see when using the classic Phish ticketing service, Phish Tickets-By-Mail (or PTBM).
The new system that has replaced PTBM has caused thousands of dedicated, loyal fans to be shut out of shows due to scalping and other unsavory ticketing practices.
PTBM used to reward the faithful's hard work and cut down on scalpers. Now it is left to chance or luck.
We, the undersigned, call on Phish and their current management to re-instill the old ticketing system (Phish Tickets-By-Mail or "PTBM") that rewards the faithful and cuts down on scalping and other predatory ticketing behavior that has no place in our beloved scene.
The new ticket "lottery" system unfairly squeezes out dedicated fans of Phish.
We demand a return of the classic system of ticketing so those who truly want to see a Phish show are rewarded with their efforts.
