On Feb/2/2007 12:00 p.m. Doctors Chusid & Trepal, addressed the MBG exam results and presented their suspicions to the class. The conclusion was such that 18 questions, which were believed to be compromised, were removed from the test. (50 total questions) Therefore, only 32 new questions quoted by the administration will be graded. However, statistics of new grades show that 59 Students have failed the above-mentioned exam. As to the eyes of the law and the class of 2010 students, the Notebook found, belonged to one student and not the whole class.

Therefore, there are no solid and factual evidence present to incriminate the whole class. With that said, in any given situation if numerous students have failed an exam as shown in the above, it clearly proves that the instructor haven't presented the material to the best of their ability and many students were/are still some what confused regarding the information thought.

We, the class of 2010, call on New York College of Podiatric Medicine Administration to reconsider the previous decision made regarding the MBG Class Grades, as the current decision made by the administration is unfair. We the class of 2010, believe that good performance on several questions on an examination can not be based on an assumption that the questions were compromised and/or all students were in possession of such documents. On the other hand, the 32 new questions selected for this exam were not tested previously by the instructor as to show how good/fair the questions are/were. In any standard exams, as seen on National Boards, MCAT, DAT, GRE, etc. when there are supspicions of plagirism and cheating the entire examination is a void, that is if there are substantial evidence that cheating has occured.

Also, there are no laws governed by the student handbook at NYCPM that allows for the administration to retract grades from students onces it has been given. Therefore, it is kindly asked for the reconsideration of previous decision.
