We started training in October 2015 for the ICT smart boards to begin work in December 2015, but this was postponed to January 2015 due to certain school principals refusing to accept learners during the examination period.
We the interns of the Department of Education under the ICT (Smartboards) project facilitated by Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA).
We are petitioning the Department of Education to vent our frustration about the Non-Payments of interns since the commencement of the program from January to February 2016.
We are requesting urgent intervention on the matter as we are no longer able to survive without payments.
