Burton village is a quiet village, Dorset County Council plan to widen the pedestrian footpath at Stony Lane bridge and make it single lane traffic with added traffic lights!
We can't let this happen! It will cause more traffic queuing to get on to the Stony Lane roundabout and vice versa.
This is a total waste of money as the number of pedestrians who use the footpath is very low anyway!
We sign this petition to stop Dorset County Council from going ahead with the Stony Lane works.
We the undersigned call on Dorset County Council to rethink this idea at Stony Lane bridge. If this goes ahead it will cause even more traffic problems.
