This petition is being generated on behalf of the Woodcreek Manor Subdivision residents who overwhelmingly are against the application for a Conditional Use Home Permit for 350 Woodcreek Boulevard.

We believe that should the county grant this Conditional Use Permit that it would be contradictory to McCracken County’s Comprehensive Zoning Plan and, in fact, benefit only one property instead of the general welfare of the Woodcreek Manor community.

We strongly believe that allowing a beauty salon in our neighborhood that the potential for adverse impact is not worth jeopardizing the character of the neighborhood. The increase in traffic not only jeopardizes the “quiet enjoyment” of the neighborhood, but also places additional undue risk to the children, pets, and pedestrians who walk and ride bikes in the neighborhood.

While the proposed business would reside on Woodcreek Boulevard, it would also negatively impact those residents on Garland Drive as both roadways share a common entrance to the subdivision which could also have negative impact related to increased traffic demands.

We the undersigned residents of WoodCreek Manor Subdivisoin do hereby request that the application for an occupational permit to allow a beauty salon be located on the property located at 350 Woodcreek Blvd, McCracken County, Kentucky be DENIED:
