Mr. Labaran Maku, the immediate past Minister of Information and Communications hails from Nasarawa State in North Central Nigeria, the same with us. As a cabinet Minister of the Federal Republic, he was not creative and thus did not add value to the Federal Ministry of Information.
Back home, Maku is politically weak, he has no followership. He was a major factor in PDP’s losing the gubernatorial election in the state. Such a man cannot represent us. And if it is Technocrats, we have many others to give Mr. President.
We the undersigned Nasarawa State Youths appeal to Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan NOT TO INCLUDE MR. LABARAN MAKU IN THE MINISTERIAL NOMINEE LIST TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE SENATE.
