The Dipolog City District Office of the Land Transportation Office will transfer its operations in a one-stop-shop motor vehicle registration and driver's licensing very soon.
The one-stop-shop will be operated by a private entity, particularly of the Cerilles family of Zamboanga del Sur. It is sad to note that upon its operations, the insurance offices, existing smoke-testing centers, real estate lessors, etc., will be adversely affected by the said transfer.
We the adversely affected business partners of the Land Transportation Office in Dipolog City as spearheaded by the Zanorte Motor Vehicle Registration Agents Association would like to appeal to the Regional Director of the Land Transportation Office in Region IX to hold in abeyance the impending transfer of the LTO in Dipolog City pending a Compromise Agreement between the operator of the one-stop-shop operations of the LTO-Dipoog City represented by the Cerilles Family and parties concerned as mentioned above.
