Opposition to development by BYS on Acre Lane.
Please note that Big Yellow met with representatives of Lambeth Council at the end of May 09 to express their acknowlegement of opposition by local residents.
They informed Lambeth that they would call another meeting at the end of June to further discuss whether they would go ahead with the development.
Fingers crossed, they will get the message! If not, we will have to step up the campaign.
We, the undersigned, wish to state our opposition to the proposed development by Big Yellow Storage/RPS Group at 176-184 Acre Lane, SW2.
Our main objections being:
1. the question of security to our properties;
2. disturbance from allowing 24/7 access;
3. the subject of being over-looked by the inhabitants of the proposed work units;
4. the disruption and impact on our properties that excavating down 3 storeys would involve;
5. the question of whether another storage facility is necessary on Acre Lane.
