The GOP has waged a full-scale war on sexual health care, taking aim first at essential public health care providers like Planned Parenthood, threatening to shut down the federal government just a year ago over the organization's funding. Now the GOP has set its sights on the individuals who make personal decisions to use birth control, or otherwise exercise their right to control their fertility, family size and indeed, their futures.

This isn't a woman's issue. Women aren't alone in the act or consequences of having sex. This is a human rights issue, and the GOP has gone too far. Indeed, the extreme Republicans have crossed a line, and those who would vote for them, give them money or power in any form, need a loud and clear message.

Whether you're male, female, transgendered, gay, bi or straight, boycott sex with extremist Republicans and their supporters. At a minimum, we'll prevent the procreation of insanity.

Today, I pledge to refain from sexual activities with extreme Rebublicans and those who put their money, voice or power behind a socially conservative agenda that thwarts access to contraception, medically-accurate and age appropriate sex education, and safe, legal, unfettered abortion care. Volumes of research show that increased access to the full range of sexual health care improves public health and saves taxpayer dollars.

I am an adult who understands the ramifications of my decisions about whether and when to parent a child(ren). I don't need the government to tell me what information I need to have to make those decisions, to force me to have unnecessary and invasive medical procedures, or to waste my tax dollars paying for efforts to eliminate my access to taking action on the decisions I make.

I am a human being who either has sex today or wishes to have sex one day, in the same way that one eats and sleeps regularly. Today, I vow to only have sex with people who share my values around sex and sexuality. No institution - the government, my employer, the media, or any other outside entity - should have more power over my personal decision to have sex, and the process of making sexual health care decisions, than I do myself. I don't want to have sex with someone who does not value my rights as a person, whether through direct attacks on women and sexual health care, or indirectly through money, advertising, or even a vote.

No sex for extreme Republicans. No sex with people who demand that sex tapes featuring women speaking out on the issue of contraception be made publicly available. No sex with those who make excuses for their support of candidates or incumbents who have crossed the line.

Not with me. Ever.
