#Health and visual impact on community environment
Target:
Optus and The owners of 17 Wilfords Lane, Milton
Region:
Australia

We the people of the local Milton and surrounding communities endeavour to stop the plans to construct a 30m tall Optus mobile phone tower and base station at 17 Wilfords Lane, Milton.

The erection of this tower will create many major and ongoing concerns to the community such as:
- The proximity to a school, which raises health and well being concerns for students and staff.
- The proximity to many local businesses where staff will be constantly exposed EMR/ EME emissions
- It is close to a residential area (within 100m to 500m), the area of highest exposure according to the documents provided by Optus
- It would be unsightly and reduce the value of property in the area
- It is a possible navigation hazard for emergency service helicopters using the nearby helipad.

We the undersigned ask that Optus and the owners of 17 Wilfords Lane, Milton NSW cease their plans to construct a mobile phone base station and 30m tall Optus phone tower.

The concerns this tower poses on the local Milton community include potential health risks, property devaluation and jeopardising the country community aesthetics and feel.
